NI-SCXI-1194-2 5-GHz-50-Quad-4x1-Mux-Insertion-Loss-1 35-d The National Instruments SCXI-1194 is a quad 4x1 high-frequency unterminated multiplexing switch capable of switching signals from DC to 2.5 GHz. The characteristic impedance of the channels on this module is 50 ┘. The NI SCXI-1194 has a maximum voltage rating of 30 Vrms with a maximum switching current of 500 mA. It is well-suited for applications that require the routing of high-frequency signals inside automated test equipment (ATE) systems because it can switch signals with very low insertion loss. In addition, the excellent voltage standing-wave ratio (VSWR) and isolation parameters make this module the perfect choice in any system geared toward high-frequency applications. The SCXI-1194 also offers relay count tracking to help reduce unexpected system downtime. Note: The bandwidth specification of a switch module is not an absolute specification and is determined by vendor standards. Although you can route higher-frequency signals through this switch module, they encounter more degradation than those at lower frequencies. To determine the best switch module for your application, review the insertion loss, VSWR, and isolation specifications of the product for the bandwidth of your application. NI-TBX-24F The TBX-24F is a general-purpose screw terminal block with feed-through connections for 24 signal lines. You connect the TBX-24F to the SCXI module with discrete wires connected to a standard SCXI terminal block. For example, you can use two TBX-24F blocks to terminate the I/O lines for a single SCXI-1160 relay module, which requires 48 signal connections (16 relays, 3 lines per relay). SCXI-1163R The SCXI-1163R includes 32 normally open, or Form A, optically isolated solid-state relays, arranged into eight banks of four relays with one common pole for each bank. You can use the SCXI-1163R to switch high-voltage loads, up to 240 VAC/VDC and up to 200 mA. The SCXI-1163R is programmed serially over the SCXIbus. You can therefore easily integrate SCXI-1163R modules into existing SCXI systems without additional DAQ devices or cabling.
